Service Terms

What you get. How it works. No small print.

These Service Terms describe exactly what Bizzvis delivers under each plan, how updates and support work, what's included and what isn't, and what happens if you ever decide to move on. They complement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If anything is unclear, email us at info@bizzvis.com — we're happy to explain.

1. How Acceptance Works

By purchasing a Bizzvis plan — either by completing checkout online or by confirming your order via email — you agree to these Service Terms, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. These documents together form the complete agreement between you and Bizzvis LLC regarding your subscription.

If you are signing up on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms. These Service Terms take effect on the date your order is confirmed and remain in effect for the duration of your subscription.

2. Plans and What's Included

2.2 Email by Plan

Professional email is not included in any Bizzvis plan. We recommend Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 for business email at your domain. We are happy to assist with DNS configuration to connect a third-party email provider — this counts as a standard update under your plan.

2.3 What's Included in Every Plan

  • Hosting via Vercel's global CDN infrastructure
  • Basic on-page SEO setup (title tags, meta descriptions, heading structure)
  • Contact form powered by Tally (no additional cost)
  • Google Analytics setup and connection (optional, on request)
  • Monthly content updates as specified in your plan

2.4 Plan-Specific Features

  • Presence: Up to 5 pages, 1 update per month, 48-hour support response target
  • Momentum: Up to 10 pages, 4 updates per month, 24-hour support response target, priority review of update requests
  • Growth: Up to 20 pages, 8 updates per month, 12-hour support response target, blog or news section available on request
  • Authority: Unlimited pages, unlimited updates, 4-hour support response target, dedicated account management, ecommerce add-on available at reduced setup

2.5 What's Not Included

  • Domain registration or renewal fees (you own and manage your domain)
  • Professional email accounts or email hosting
  • Custom web application development or database-driven features
  • SEO campaign management, paid advertising, or social media management
  • Photography, videography, or custom illustration
  • Content writing or copywriting (you provide all copy)
  • Third-party software subscriptions required by your business (e.g., booking tools, CRMs)

3. Updates — How They Work

UPDATE DEFINITION An "update" is a change to existing content on your website — such as editing text, swapping an image, updating contact details, adjusting a color, or adding a new section to an existing page. Updates do not include new pages, structural redesigns, new features, or ecommerce changes unless otherwise agreed.

Updates that count toward your monthly allowance include:

  • Text edits on any existing page
  • Replacing or adding images within an existing layout
  • Updating business hours, phone numbers, addresses, or team member information
  • Adding a new section (e.g., testimonials block, new service card) to an existing page

Routine changes that do not count as updates include fixing broken links, correcting typos introduced in our work, and resolving any display issues caused by browser or hosting changes.

Unused updates expire at the end of each calendar month and do not roll over. If you regularly need more updates than your plan includes, we recommend upgrading to the next tier.

4. Support

All support requests are handled via email at info@bizzvis.com. Support response times listed in Section 2.1 are estimates based on business hours (Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm Pacific Time, excluding US federal holidays). Response time targets begin when your request is received during business hours.

To help us respond quickly, please include your domain name, a clear description of the change or issue, and any relevant screenshots or reference links in your support email.

Support covers questions about your website, update requests within your plan, and general guidance on using your site. It does not cover third-party platforms, email providers, or systems outside of the Bizzvis-managed website.

NO EMERGENCY SUPPORT Bizzvis does not offer 24/7 emergency support or guaranteed same-day response for any plan. If your website experiences an outage caused by our hosting infrastructure, we will prioritize resolution as quickly as possible — but we do not offer SLA-backed uptime guarantees or emergency support response commitments.

5. Ecommerce Add-Ons

Store Basic includes a product catalog with up to 20 products, Stripe-powered checkout, order confirmation emails, and basic inventory tracking. Suitable for businesses selling a small range of physical or digital products.

Store Pro includes everything in Store Basic plus unlimited products, discount and coupon codes, category management, and enhanced order reporting. Suitable for businesses with a growing or complex product catalog.

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. Stripe's standard processing fees apply (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction in the US — see stripe.com for current rates). Stripe fees are separate from and in addition to your Bizzvis subscription. You are responsible for your own Stripe account setup, tax settings, and compliance with applicable laws governing online commerce in your jurisdiction.

6. Fees and Taxes

6.1 Billing

Your monthly subscription fee is charged on the same date each month, beginning on the date your subscription is activated. All fees are in US dollars (USD) and are processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Bizzvis to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until your subscription is cancelled. Setup fees are due at the time of purchase and are non-refundable once work has commenced.

6.2 Taxes

TAX — IMPORTANT United States: Bizzvis LLC is based in Washington State. Washington state sales tax may apply to your subscription based on your location. Tax will be applied at checkout where required by law. You are responsible for any other federal, state, or local taxes applicable to your purchase.

Canada: Canadian clients may be subject to GST, HST, or PST depending on their province. Where required by applicable Canadian tax law, we will collect and remit the appropriate tax. You acknowledge that digital services purchased from a non-resident supplier may trigger tax obligations in your province.

6.3 Failed Payments and Suspension

If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry up to three times over a 7-day period. If payment remains outstanding after that period, your subscription may be suspended and your website may be taken offline until the balance is settled. Reactivation after suspension may require re-payment of the most recent monthly fee.

7. Your Domain

DOMAIN — KEY COMMITMENTS Your domain name is always yours. Bizzvis never holds your domain hostage. We will never transfer your domain to ourselves, lock it, or withhold access — regardless of any billing dispute.

You may bring an existing domain or ask us to assist with registering a new one. If Bizzvis registers a domain on your behalf, it is registered in your name with full registrar access granted to you. Domain registration and renewal fees are your responsibility and are separate from your Bizzvis subscription.

We may manage your DNS settings to connect your domain to our hosting infrastructure. Upon request — or upon cancellation of your subscription — we will provide all DNS records and any relevant access credentials promptly and without restriction.

Bizzvis will send courtesy renewal reminders for domains we are aware of, but we are not responsible for domain expiration, loss of registration, or service interruption caused by a lapsed domain.

When you cancel your subscription, your domain remains yours. Cancellation of Bizzvis services has no effect on your domain registration or your ability to use your domain with another provider.

8. Build Timeline

Once your setup fee is paid and all required content has been delivered by you, we target a 5-business-day turnaround for your initial website build, structured as follows:

  • Days 1–2: Design and layout — we build your site's structure, apply your branding, and create the initial design.
  • Days 3–4: Content integration and refinement — your content is placed, imagery is styled, and the site is reviewed for quality and mobile responsiveness.
  • Day 5: Review and launch — you receive a preview link for final approval; upon your sign-off, the site goes live.

Build timelines may be extended if content or feedback from you is delayed. We will communicate any delay as soon as it becomes apparent. Bizzvis is not liable for business losses arising from a delayed launch where the delay results from incomplete content submission or circumstances outside our control.

9. Cancellation and What Happens Next

You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing info@bizzvis.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. When you cancel, the following offboarding steps will be carried out:

  • Your website remains live and fully functional until the end of the paid billing period
  • At the end of the paid period, hosting is discontinued and your site is taken offline
  • We will provide a full export of your website files (HTML, CSS, assets) within 14 days of cancellation
  • All DNS records and domain access credentials are returned to you upon request, with no delay
  • Any content, copy, or assets you provided to Bizzvis will be deleted from our systems within 60 days of subscription end
  • Billing and financial records are retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax law
  • All other personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law
